Position: Senior SharePoint Architect (Chicago, IL)

Duties: Lead the complete SharePoint solution lifecycle, including sales,

design, development, and delivery of engagements. Shape the strategy,

architecture, methodology and standards for delivering SharePoint

solutions. Engage with the sales team and prospects to understand client

needs then develop technical proposals to articulate the company’s value

proposition. Develop and deliver presentations to gain consensus and

translate complex technical topics to audiences with a range of technical

sophistication.

Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering, or MIS and three (3) years experience in

software development and consulting, or, alternatively, a Bachelor's

degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,

or MIS and six (6) years of experience as noted above.

Also requires demonstrated expertise: in software development processes and

best practices utilizing SharePoint Microsoft technology stack, and

Business Intelligence solutions including SQL Server, Analysis Services,

Integration Services, Reporting Services, Performance Point and PowerPivot;

developing and customizing SharePoint platform 2007 and 2010 features

using .Net, C#, and WCF; performing SharePoint server installation,

deployment modeling, performance tuning and enterprise scalability;

customizing database solutions and extracting data using SQL Server;

performing web design and development using JavaScript and Object Oriented

Design models for Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Social

Networking, Enterprise Content Management and Business Process and Forms

applications; and interfacing with client stakeholders and IT development

staff to create requirements and perform project implementation.
