Job Description:

Lead enterprise level database architecture to drive the design and

development of complex data systems and architectures for global

operations. Lead development and delivery of DBA program aimed at

mitigating risk and ensuring continuity of operations. Perform SAP and MYQ

database administration, and design large databases coupled with in-memory

database architecture and modeling, as well as various other business

applications. Enhance data security, review database security access and

compliance, and design and build security authorizations. Perform DBA

administration of SAP and non-SAP applications. Resolve performance

problems and database incidents. Design and implement SAP HANA and support

HANA systems to maintain optimal performance, availability and efficiency.

Responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, maintenance and

production monitoring of database instances and associated software tools.

Collaborate with customers with diverse skills and business backgrounds.

Counsel and mentor junior Database Analysts or Consultants.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information

Systems or related field or related field (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) as well as 3 years of experience performing SQL

database administration or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years

of experience as noted above.

Also requires:

Demonstrated expertise (DE) performing database architecture design and

optimization using SAP ECC and BI; DE providing leadership in the area of

enterprise level database architect to drive the design and development of

complex data systems and architectures for global operations; DE

interfacing with application owners to develop standards and procedures to

mitigate risk, ensure continuity of operations, and safeguard company

assets and reputation; DE architecting and implementing SAP database

platform, including the design of large databases, database architecture

and modeling, and design of business applications; DE implementing all

major database components using Microsoft SQL Server, including management

of interrelationships between major system components including networking,

storage, server, OS, authentication, application code, and disaster

recovery technology; and performing database administration using all major

components of SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS and SSAS).
