Job Description:

Works on Consona CM (“Onyx”) implementation projects as technical

specialist responsible for the technical configuration and advanced

customization or integration of Onyx Solutions. Primary duties involve

working with the customer and the Onyx consulting project team to

accurately estimate, design and develop desired customizations and

solutions. Requires a proven technical skill set that has been

demonstrated in the development of enterprise business applications.

Ability to understand the business functions that the customizations

support is also desired. Ability to lead and manage a team consisting of

three to five technical consultants is also imperative. In addition, will:

1. Engage with Onyx Consulting project teams to design, develop, and

test advanced configurations, customizations or integration of Onyx

Solutions.

• Participate in meetings where business requirements and development

objectives are defined.

• Provide guidance to the customer and project team with respect to

technical feasibility, complexity, and level of effort required to deliver

a custom solution.

• Assist senior and managing project consultants in incorporating

development project plan into overall project plan.

• Ensure that the customization is designed and developed in accordance

with the agreed upon customization workplan.

• Execute specific tasks on the project workplan, including but not limited

to:

* Customization design

* Customization resourcing

* Customization development

* Customization testing

* Customization installation at customer site

* Documentation of customization

• Create and deliver weekly status reports of customization progress

to the Onyx project manager.

2. Serve as technical lead on projects

• Estimate tasks

• Schedule /allocate tasks

• Oversee configuration and coding of technical consultants and

offshore development team.

3. Engage independently with customer to execute tactical customization

outside the context of a major definition, configuration, and deployment

project.

4. Take ownership for the successful execution of the technical project

workplan. Work cooperatively with project team members, including both

Onyx and customer personnel, to ensure task completion is proceeding on

schedule and on budget. Requirements include:

• Ability to assist in pre-sales support and proposal generation

• Deliver project task responsibilities correctly and on-schedule

• Review work completed by other technical team members

In addition, will develop and maintain mastery of primary Onyx-focused

Microsoft programming languages by leveraging existing knowledge and

studying the latest Onyx technology. Requires frequent travel and on short

notice.

Any qualified U.S. worker will be permitted to work out of a home office

within or outside the same Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or Management

Information Systems and five (5) years experience in Job Offered or five

(5) years experience in business application development or technical

consulting.

OR

Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or Management

Information Systems and three (3) years experience in Job Offered or three

(3) years experience in business application development or technical

consulting.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise interfacing with clients on the requirements

gathering, development and implementation of an IT consulting engagement

and coordinating the development activities for and the project management

of an offshore development team.

• Demonstrated expertise liaising with clients in requirements gathering

and mapping sessions within a CRM or Enterprise Software environment.

• Demonstrated expertise developing web applications and tools using

ASP/ASP.NET, JavaScript, XML and component object model (COM) based

programming.

• Demonstrated expertise in object oriented design and development using

C#, Java and/or C++ and relational database object design and development

within an Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server environment.
