Job Description:

Senior Delivery Analyst (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Chicago, Illinois): Develop, deliver, implement, and support BCGs client facing applications, including gathering requirements, overseeing installation, configuring application according to business requirements, and training clients end users. Specific duties include: work with BCG team to understand clients processes and business requirements; identify necessary changes in clients business processes; define approach to configure and setup software; develop blueprint for data management and implement new data processes; analyze client data to determine parameter requirements for application setup; deliver, install, configure, implement, and provide technical support for client-facing applications; install application and ensure compliance with client policies and requirements; provide training to BCG case teams, clients application user group and IT team so they may efficiently use, monitor, and support the application; collaborate with vendors to diagnose and resolve systems technical and non-technical bugs, performance, and other issues; document, track, and monitor software for bugs to ensure timely resolution; and perform quality control tests and document issues, changes, and enhancements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology management or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a software engineer and developer working with clients to develop business requirements and applications or, alternatively, a master's degree and three years of experience as stated above. Specific skills/other requirements Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): working with data powering methodologies and approaches used in software to learn analytical approaches used to transform data into business insights; identifying, developing and implementing software solutions accounting for compliance with business needs, security policies, deployment and support; resolving technical and non-technical software bugs and performance issues; diagnosing and resolving system technical and non-technical problems, bugs and performance issues; performing control tests and maintaining logs of problems, issues, changes and enhancements; working with ETL processes, SQL Programming and Development, and Programming languages, which must include Python, to create workflows that perform data cleansing, develop algorithms and generate datasets to be sent to SQL or to other data sources; utilizing tableau development to build dashboards integrated with SQL server databases; and conducting data analytics modeling.
