Spirit Airlines - Detroit, Michigan
Reported directly to and supported the Sr. Vice President of Technical Operations.
Directed all aspects of maintenance for the airline in accordance with 14 CFR.
Accountable for annual budget worth over 50 million.
Directly accountable for parts usage and stock levels.
Directed staffing levels to conform to budgetary and maintenance level requirements for all maintenance stations.
Developed decision concepts for facility requirements.
Implemented cost savings initiatives that downsized overall headcount, facilities requirements and stock requirements with a savings over approximately 1.6 million annually.
Successfully negotiated and approved outsourced maintenance contracts for maintenance stations both in the U.S. and internationally to meet budget as well keep the on time performance of the airline at or above 98%.
Member of the Primary Reliability Review Control Board with fellow Maintenance Department Director’s, Engineering Authorization (EA) Review Board.
Implemented policy and procedural changes to fit the changing needs of the airline in accordance with the annual budget, aircraft maintenance program, annual training and FAA requirements.

Tasked with maintaining and observing the international cities to ensure Spirit Airlines GMM and Line Maintenance policies and procedures were upheld.
Responsible for visiting new international destinations and initiating new maintenance contracts.
