Job Description:
Parker and Lynch is looking to fill a self-motivated and
results-oriented Senior Accountant position for a client of ours in
Oak Brook, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for the
general oversight within the monthly and quarterly close process,
along with assisting in the improvement of internal controls while
participating in projects that integrate a wide range of accounting
exposure. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting * 2 - 4
years relevant experience * Strong presentation skills * ERP
systems experience * Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups,
etc..) * Self-motivated / Results-oriented * CPA+ * Masters in
Accounting+ Duties: * Preparation and review of monthly and
quarterly close processes * Journal entries and account
reconciliations * Preparation and review of various stand-alone
audit reports * Assist with the optimization of accounting
procedures * Preparation of monthly analytics over significant
account balances * Assist leadership with financial statement
preparation * Ad Hoc projects For immediate consideration for this
