Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:Supervisor oversees six insurance verification clerks. Monitors daily work flow including TES/PCS workfiles. Communicates front end errors by attending the monthly Provider Relations meeting. Works as an educator to LUPF staff, when constant errors occur. Initiates recommendations on the creation of new edits to reduce registration denials. Monitors monthly registration denials and daily claim form edits implements change on edits as needed to reduce denial rate. Responsible for corrective actions to employees.Monitorstheefficiencyofworkviaaudits,phonemonitors,TES/PCSworkfiles andkronos.Implementsverbal,correctiveactionsandworkimprovementsas needed.MonitorsdailyPCS/TESworkfilestoensurecompletion.Reviewsvolumeof returnclaims, denials,re-erificationrequests,analyzespossibletrendingissues, communicatesissuestoLUMC/ProviderRealations.AssuresSLPreportisbeing workedproperly,encouragesstafftofollowLUPFguidelines.Attendsmonthlymeetings-LUPFsupervisorstodiscusstheMedicare communique,ProviderRelationstodiscussmultipleregistrationerrorsfromthe frontendandmeetswiththedepartmentmanagertoreviewallissues.Initiates staffmeetingtocommunicatechange,updatesand/orpolicychangesalso providestoolstoassistinimprovingjobperformance.MaintainsIDXdictionariesbyrequestingworkorderstoI/Tdepartment. Knowledgeableincrossmappingandregistrationinterfaceworkflow.
