ResponsibilitiesRole based in Chicago HQ OfficeThe role of the Global Procurement Senior Manager is to support the Quaker MSO across key categories including fruit, nuts and dairy. - This role will partner with Quaker Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, Sales, Finance and other functions to enable Quaker plant operations and strategic innovation platforms. -This role has full commercial ownership and sourcing accountabilities for several key ingredient categories (fruit, nuts, seeds, vegetables, dairy) and will support the North America foods business units (Quaker US + Canada), with a spend of -$95MM supporting 10+ manufacturing sites.This role will interact across the organization and partner with supply chain, innovation, finance, sales, marketing and other functions to drive engagement and execute against program deliverables. - This position will also have interactions with external partners and suppliers including executive leadership.The individual's responsibilities include:Develop, align and deploy sourcing strategies for categories of ownership focusing on delivering critical solutions for the businessEnsure delivery of key financial KPIs for owned categories including but not limited to: productivity, cash flow, innovation NR, service, supplier diversityResponsible for surety of supply, supplier management, escalation within categories of ownershipSupporting Quaker overall NR growth targets and innovation launch readiness againstWithin owned categories - support the development of the long-term strategic roadmap with critical financial analysis and strategic thought leadership, provide measuring and tracking against roadmapSupport category teams with financial and data analysis to support RFPSupport escalation management to support supply assuranceCompensation & Benefits:The expected salary range is $145,000 - $155,000Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavementOther benefits, subject to elections and eligibility: - Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement PlanQualificationsBachelor's Degree (Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics), Masters Preferred8-10 years of relevant experience strategically sourcing ingredients or similar category in a global FMCPG companyProject management experience - especially managing multiple high profile projects simultaneouslyBusiness continuity planning and supplier management experienceExcellent analytical skills and the ability to develop data driven insights and translate analytical findings into actionExperience leading complex contract negotiations, development of risk management strategies and leading and executing sourcing strategiesAbility to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace changeProven track record in developing relationships with stakeholders to problem-solve issuesUnderstanding how to operate in a matrix organization and ability to navigate and collaborate for successEffective communicator; excellent oral/presentation and written communicationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving capability to figure out solutions to complex issuesStrong leadership skills and drive for resultsAble to deal with ambiguity in a complex business unit -COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. - Please note that all such company vaccine requirements provide the opportunity to request an approved accommodation or exemption under applicable law
