services to Baker Tilly Partners, including tax preparation,

- Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various
federal tax compliance and consulting services to individuals.
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individual tax
returns and all supporting tax documents.
- Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax
issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority
inquiries
- Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of
individual taxation
- Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share
with leadership to discuss and strategize
- Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on
complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, and
international
- Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring
along with participating in firm wide learning and development
programs
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong
relationships internally QualificationsSuccessful candidates will
have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in
business, and sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA
and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered
- CPA or JD license preferred
- Minimum of two year(s) of experience providing federal tax
compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm
preferred
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management,
communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building,
collaboration, and problem solving
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and
analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
- Microsoft Suite skills

New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is
$65,000 to $113,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety
of factors including but not limited to skills, experience,
