Description
Robert Half currently has an opening for a Human Resources
Generalist to work on-site for a client located in Warrenville, Il.
The Human Resources performs professional level human resources
work and carries out the administration and coordination of
programs and functions such as staffing, human resources
information systems, report writing and recordkeeping, benefits,
compensation, and training. Serves as the first point of contact
for general employee inquiries and routes more complex or critical
issues to the appropriate Human Resources staff members.

Responsibilities:
Benefits: Assist in coordination of benefit changes with benefits
broker for processing; prepares paperwork for benefits premium
deductions and submit to payroll. COBRA administration. Assist with
annual compliance reporting/submissions, mailings, etc. Annual Open
Enrollment process. Manage the coordination of all types of Leave
of Absence Compensation: Assist with pulling data for job analyses
and preparation of job descriptions and with the annual planning
for merit, pay adjustments, bonus and equity. Assist with gathering
information for salary survey submissions to compensation
consulting firms. Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and
Intranet: Create the documentation and input changes into HRIS
database. Run established reports and develops ad-hoc reports from
HRIS and audit information stored in HRIS to ensure accuracy.
Employee Inquiries, Reports/Recordkeeping and Miscellaneous:
Document HR related workflows and procedures. Respond to routine
inquiries from employees or directs inquiries to the appropriate
Human Resources staff. Provide employment verifications to external
inquiries such as mortgage companies reference checks,
unemployment, etc. Provide the Payroll department supporting
documentations for all changes and required reports. Initiate and
runs ad hoc reports from HRIS at the direction of the HR team.
Assist with the preparation of compliance reporting. Maintain and
update all HR files; ensures that employee records are compliant
with recordkeeping regulations. Training/Staffing: Coordinate the
workflow of staffing; track new hire requisitions, post on
website(s), send to outside search firms when appropriate,
schedules candidates and interviewers. Manage the HR related
on-boarding process with new hires. Scheduling and tracking annual
training. Recommend training courses for development needs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of basic office practices
HRIS ADP systems required
Fundamental knowledge of Human Resources functions and
processes
Capable of properly maintaining an HRIS system
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in
a rapidly changing environment
Strong attention to detail and demonstrates a high degree of
accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree required
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
5-7 years of related Human Resources experience
