• Brand new office in Downtown Chicago!About Our ClientI'm partnered with the Accounting Manager for a management consulting firm located in Downtown Chicago and is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their fun, collaborative, and growing team! You will have the opportunity to gain direct mentorship from the Accounting Manager and work cross functionally with with the CFO. Our client is focused on disruption within the Tech, Logistics, and CPG space. They are a flexible/causal work environment with many work perks and outings. The hiring manager is a strong believer in having fun while you work and having interesting and challenging/rewarding responsibilities.Job Description
  • Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements for multiple entities
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Prepare various financial reports on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Provide support for external audit requirements
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist with system implementations and upgrades
  • Support special projects such as process improvements, cost analysis, and financial modeling

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 3+ years of experience in an accounting role
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
    • Experience with multiple entity accounting and financial analysis
    • Knowledge of system implementations and upgrades
