We are currently seeking a Premium Tax Specialist (m/f/d) based in the Chicago office. The Impact You Will Have This position is responsible for providing support for all accounting activities associated with the close and consolidation of the Company's financial statements for the North American entities of the AGCS business unit, which operates under our foreign-based parent. Responsibilities include general accounting, premium tax and completing assigned IFRS, GAAP, and STAT reporting. Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Completing premium tax estimates and annual returns, including filing, payment, ledger entries, and other regulatory requests.
• Handling monthly close activities, such as posting accruals, deferred acquisition expenses, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Managing accounting, billing, and collection functions for services provided to external affiliates like Allianz Life, Allianz of America, and Allianz Risk Consultants.
• Identifying and implementing process changes to enhance task efficiency.
• Archiving records to meet audit and statutory requirements. Qualifications
  • Recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles. The annual base salary range base pay range for this role is $47000 - $80876. The annualized represents a North American market range. The actual salary for this position may be above or below and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package.
