Job Description:Bank of America Global Vendor Finance ("GVF")
provides customer financing programs for leading equipment
manufacturers, dealers, distributors and service providers, as well
as independent leasing and finance companies. GVF works closely
with the Global Corporate Banking and Global Commercial Banking
clients of Bank of America. GVF provides comprehensive vendor
finance capabilities which help our clients differentiate
themselves from competitors, drive incremental sales, enhance cash
flows, generate liquidity, and increase market share. GVF's
capabilities include:
- Customized program structures including wholesale and retail
models, with and without recourse
- Broad range of equipment types including transportation,
material handling, construction, hardware, software, medical, clean
energy and others
- Full suite of financing products including secured loans,
finance leases, FMV leases, TRAC leases and purchase or
receivables
- Global capabilities including US, Canada, Mexico, EMEA and Asia
Pacific
- Individual transactions ranging from $50,000 to over $100
millionEssential Functions:Highly motivated, sales professional
with responsibility for originating new vendor finance programs.
Associate is expected to work closely with Bank of America Global
Corporate Banking and Global Commercial Banking client managers in
identifying, prioritizing and converting prospects into clients.
Ability to effectively lead and coordinate cross functional deal
teams - including credit, risk management, contracts, legal and
pricing - to deliver exceptional client experience and
industry-best service. Expectation of originating 3-5 new programs
annually resulting in a minimum $5-10MM of volume per program per
year with capacity for incremental growth. Required Skills: "Must"
have skills to be minimally qualified.
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial finance and/or
equipment leasing arena, with a preference for deep experience in
vendor finance sales. Desired Skills:
- Exceptional client management and relationship building
skills
- Proven track record in vendor finance sales and business
development roles
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, team-oriented
environment
- Effective management of peer and senior stakeholder
relationships
- Deep knowledge of vendor finance program structures, including
commercial, financial, legal, tax, pricing and accounting
concepts
- Experience operating within a large, regulated financial
institution
- Professional conduct, compliant behavior and high ethical
standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications; competency with
pricing software beneficial (Super Trump, T-Value)Shift:1st shift
