Our company continues to grow, organically, geographically and through acquisition.Primary FunctionManage and execute corporate strategic financial project reviews; the development of the strategic financial forecast for the company; the preparation of M&A valuation analysis and presentations; the development of investor relations analysis and presentations; the review of opportunities to enhance shareholder value; prepare ad hoc requests, and corporate financial planning as necessary.Supervision: One direct report: Sr. Analyst Strategic Planning (TBC) Key Deliverables: Lead detailed compilation and development of 5-year global strategic financial plan, including strategic deployment of cashSupport the preparation of corporate acquisition valuation models and prepare/review regional modelsSupport development of investor relations presentations, including CAGNY and Analyst DayLead strategic financial project reviews for CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of DirectorsEstablish and maintain company WACC, ROIC, and valuation standard methodologyProvide support for ad-hoc multi-segment projects, as neededDevelop collaborative and influential relationships with the CFO, Corporate Strategy team, and Investor Relations teamDevelop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the Corporate Finance team,
segment finance teams, and segment strategy teamsAssist with corporate financial planning and analysis as necessary, including, but not limited to supporting results reporting, quarterly earnings package, and board of directors presentationsSupervise, coach, train and mentor department staff in order to develop knowledgeable and skilled strategic financial personnel Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA preferredMust have 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, valuation, forecasting, strategy, accounting, or auditingExperience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple work streams simultaneouslyStrong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise mannerMust be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions.Must be proficient in discounted cash flow modeling and valuation methodologiesMust have a strong grasp of income sheet, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements interactionsStrong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP BW, BPC, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ is desirableKnowledge of Food Ingredients or Corn Wet Milling industry (competition, business climate, manufacturing processes), a plus Desired behaviors & experiences: Business and Strategic Acumen - Deep understanding of value drivers of the organization and external factors impacting the business and industry; Synthesizes company's business model, structure, and strategic framework to identify opportunities and/or strategic pivots to create competitive edgeFinancial Statement Acumen - Conducts complex analysis of all company, competitor, acquisition target, and sell-side analyst financial statements results and projectionsInvestment Analysis -
