Job TitleSVP, Global TreasurerJob Description SummaryReporting to the EVP, Chief Financial Officer, the Global Treasurer serves as lead custodian overseeing and safeguarding the firm's financial assets and liabilities. This role requires a seasoned finance leader with the ability to develop and execute on a global cash and capital structure strategy to maximize liquidity and the ability to fund key growth initiatives. The Global Treasurer oversees optimization of cash management, cash planning, banking/rating agency relationships, and development of capital structure strategy, while maintaining an overarching focus on risk management and financial compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role helps shape the firm's financial strategy and partners with business and finance leadership to fund and achieve key growth initiatives.Job DescriptionPrincipal Responsibilities

  • Oversee cash management, planning and forecasting across global bank account structure
  • Develop and drive activities to improve liquidity and cash flow, including net working capital initiatives, monitoring of key contract terms and operating cash efficiency measures
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency of corporate entity and intercompany funding structure
  • Enforce compliance with relevant controls, processes and policies to safeguard financial assets
  • Optimize structure and functionality of existing Treasury Management System technology platform
  • Develop debt capital structure strategy and lead execution of key capital markets transactions
  • Ensure compliance with all requirements under existing debt capital structure
  • Lead and strengthen relationships with partner banks
  • Oversee relationship and lead dialogue with debt rating agencies
  • Recommend strategy and execute on interest rate risk management activities
  • Accountable for FX risk management strategy
  • Partner with business leaders to scope and provide corporate security supporting specific projects or contracts, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, corporate guarantees, etc.
  • Provides coaching and direction to enable delivery of performance targets and staff development.
  • Creates a working environment that encourages high performance and innovation.
  • Promotes compliance with C&W's code of conduct.
  • Ad hoc analysis to evaluate cross-functional projects with other business and finance leadersThe successful candidate must possess the following attributes:

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceKnowledge & Experience:
        • Certified Public Accountant and/or MBA strongly preferred
        • 15+ years of treasury management and capital markets experience, preferably in a complex, global organization
        • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
        • Proven leadership and team management experience
        • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior internal and external constituents
        • Intellectual curiosity combined with strong work ethic
