have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a
Program Manager on our Mission Operations team. This is a hybrid
position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a
week in the office. As a program manager you will develop and
manage the AMA's Organizational Well-Being portfolio,
including the Joy in Medicine Health System Recognition Program and
the
Organizational Biopsy. This includes oversight on
marketing/promotion, team
communications, health system engagement opportunities, including
workshops and
webinars, and vendor management. Work with vendors, PS2 leadership,
and subject
matter experts to develop resources and engagement opportunities
for physicians
and health system leaders. Ensure operational alignment with PS2
leadership and
other internal and external stakeholders and maximize operational
effectiveness
and efficiency. Measure, monitor, and report progress against
goals, and use
data and audience insights to inform strategic and operational
plans. RESPONSIBILITIES:Program Management
Manage AMA/PS2 activities related to
health system engagement via the Organizational Biopsy and Joy in
Medicine Health System Recognition Program. Manage and support the
implementation of defined processes and systems for project
execution, including the development of project plans, assembling
of project teams, task coordination, and issue management.Support
Organizational Well-Being-related initiatives in collaboration with
the Director, Joy in Medicine, and the Director, Practice
Transformation. Deliver project tasks on time and ensure that
deliverables/milestones are met. Report project status regularly
and identify barriers to a project's successful execution and
potential solutions; coordinate activities with other internal
teams as applicable and adhere to the project budget.Serve as the
primary point of contact with vendors and other external
stakeholders to ensure timelines are met and revised as
necessary.Develop and execute annual engagement/communications
plans, managing relationships with key internal stakeholders to
achieve engagement targets.Content Development
Support the content development
strategy for organizational well-being initiatives, including key
resources for Joy in Medicine health systems and health systems
participating in the Organizational Biopsy. Manage content
development, ensuring project plans stay on track and competing
priorities are balanced based on resources.Collaborate with PS2
Communications Manager and MMX marketing, web and communications
team members to promote current and future activity to drive
awareness of and traffic to value-based care content, tools, and
resources.Oversee and monitor effectiveness of messaging, marketing
collateral, channels, marketing campaigns, events, and other
promotions; develop program priorities and marketing strategies,
define testing methods and identify tools and resources needed to
ensure program success.Present program developments recommendations
to the PS2 Leadership; drive effort to ensure program support and
garner buy-in from key stakeholders.Organize and create materials
for presentations and develop and distribute updates to
stakeholders.Relationship Management and Operations
Work with subject matter experts in
organizational well-being, including internal and external
stakeholders, and vendors (as needed) to advance the goals of the
AMA and other various content development initiatives.Help
facilitate the operational planning process to achieve objectives
set for the areas of responsibility and defined project portfolio.
Manage collaborations across internal business units, and
coordinate and share progress.Support Joy in Medicine management in
budgeting, forecasting, and managing of invoices in collaboration
with PS2 Administrative team and FinanceRepresent AMA at various
national meetings, events, or coalitions, as requested.May include
other responsibilities as assigned REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree
is required; a master's degree in business, healthcare
administration, or a related field is highly preferred.5+ years of
work experience in health care administration and program
management, or exposure to organized medicine and related
organizations required.Demonstrated knowledge of communications,
engagement, and/or marketing highly preferred. Demonstrated ability
to learn quickly and develop a strong understanding of content and
the needs and preferences of its target audiences to adapt
strategies and tactics accordingly. Demonstrated ability to work
with individuals from different disciplines, contributing as a team
member, as well as being self-motivated and a strong individual
contributor.Demonstrated an analytical and data-driven approach to
decision-making. Ability to analyze and derive insights from Google
Analytics and other content performance data as required. General
content strategy is preferred.Excellent planning and organizing
skills and the ability to work independently.Polished speaking and
interpersonal skills to develop and maintain internal and external
relationships.Demonstrated ability to successfully handle
multi-faceted projects with both time pressure and with
high-quality standards is required. Ability to effectively manage
time, prioritize work, and multi-task across assignments.Strong
written and public speaking skills, including writing/developing
reports, experience presenting and facilitating in a large group
setting.Some travel is required.This role is an exempt position,
and the salary range for this position is 85,680
- $113,526. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we
would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's
pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of
factors including but not limited to business consideration,
geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
