All while understanding that together we are even better. /n /n/n /n Schedule: Full Time /n /n/n /n Shift: Days /n /n/n /n Location: 5101 WILLOW SPRINGS RD, La Grange, 60525 /n /n/n /n The role you'll contribute: /n /n/n /n Assists with setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring and assisting the physicians with all cases performed in the /n /n cardiac cath/EP lab. Cases included standard coronary angiography, coronary interventions. EP cases (devices, /n /n ablations, loop recorders, LAAO devices, CardioMems), Vascular Cases (TCAR,EVAR, Fistulagrams, Peripheral /n /n work). The Technologist is proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and /n /n monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and /n /n Hospital Administration. Adheres to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations. Actively /n /n participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are /n /n equally respectful to all /n /n/n /n The value you'll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n Facilitates room turn over and set up for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique /n /n Provides side by side support to the physician during cases /n /n Able to monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system. /n /n Assesses and maintains the necessary supplies for the different cases performed and communicates to the lead /n /n RT or materials management when items need to be ordered. /n /n Captures and enters appropriate charges for each case /n /n Reconciles billing for historical cases /n /n Assists other team members to facilitate /n /n/n /n Qualifications /n /n The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Required /n /n Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and /n /n applicable state and federal regulations. Required /n /n Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and /n /n recommends updates or refinements as warranted. Required /n /n Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Required /n /n Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and /n /n nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures. Required /n /n Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
