Job Description Job Description Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst (Hybrid) Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing client in the Bolingbrook area to identify a skilled Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst to join their team. This hybrid role is perfect for a candidate with a strong accounting foundation, hands-on month-end close experience, and a desire to expand into broader financial analysis and business support. Key Responsibilities: • Perform month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles; support variance analysis and management reporting. • Analyze financial data, trends, and KPIs to support strategic business decisions. • Support internal and external audits with required documentation. • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver financial insights to leadership. • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting and finance. • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation for monthly and quarterly reporting. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 2-5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience. • Month-end close experience required. • Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes. • Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and deadline management. • Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset. • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and commute to the Bolingbrook area as needed. Preferred Experience: • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity environments. • Exposure to budgeting/forecasting tools and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau). • Ability to analyze financial and operational data for leadership.
