The Sr. Marketing Brand Manager at HARIBO of America is responsible for developing the long term strategy for the brand and our core products, building differentiated market positioning , developing superior brand propositions, as well as developing and executing integrated product and brand marketing plans. The original and iconic HARIBO Goldbears, created in 1922, have delighted kids and grown-ups for 100 years!

Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the Sr. Marketing Brand Manager reports up to the Director of Brand Marketing. Specifically, brand management defines the brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, innovation pipeline, advertising and promotion strategies-including social media and TV/Television strategies partnering with our external and is responsible for delivering its profit, volume and market share objectives.

The ideal Sr. Marketing Brand Manager will have at 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within the Consumer Packaged Goods / CGP industry. This person will have extensive experience leading social media programs and initiatives while partnering with third party agencies. Additionally, the candidate must be highly analytical, have a strong understanding of IRI and/or Nielsen data, and have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.


Lead execution of HARIBO of America brand marketing and brand promotion plans including Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc) and TV/Television advertising plans while partnering with agencies

Budget management for all annual brand marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, providing recommendations of spend allocations and on-going tracking actual vs. plan.

Meet the annual business plan objectives including, brand consumption, market share and household penetration

Act as the primary point of contact for support initiatives and project work within the marketing function

Execute new product initiatives and innovation with key cross-functional stakeholders

Utilize IRI, Nielsen, and other sources of data to provide insight on the brand, category, consumer, customers and competitive set. From the insights collected, ability to provide recommendations on actions or adjustments to the plan based on any insights indicated


Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in brand marketing or related field, experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods / CGP industry strongly preferred

Experience leading Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc) branding and promotional initiatives while partnering with agencies

Proven success utilizing promotional strategies utilizing TV/Television marketing strategies, partnering with agencies

Experience with IRI and Nielsen scanner data reporting and analysis

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required, MBA highly preferred

Experience identifying, building, and delivering growth initiatives in the fast-moving consumer packaged goods industry

Proven ability to deliver initiatives that have been realized and contributed significant gains in the capture of market share, revenue and volume growth, and operational efficiencies
