Title: Traditional Marketing Manager Duration: Contract-to-hire*W2Location: Hybrid Chicago (1x a week) Must Haves3+ years of experience in MarketingProject Management skills: organization, consumer research, meet deadlinesTraditional marketing experienceGood energy, go getterMarketing generalist background on the client side: they will be given a problem (what is a target customer like, where are they, and what types of channels do they need to use to reach that customer, come up with ideas for how to reach that customer).Someone who had sales goals in the past for a target customer from a marketing perspective (gain a certain amount of customers or sell a certain amount of a product)Product Marketing experience, consumer research, building plans on the insights from that researchLarge enterprise background Plusses Graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop illustrator)Banking industryAbility to create a marketing campaign from scratch and speak to the ROI/performance metrics of that campaignBrand acquisition experienceAnalytics background: approach work with KPIs in mind, analyze how marketing campaigns perform, go back to the stated KPIs showing performance metrics, gaps, and variances from past campaign performance and optimize the campaign based on that. Day to DayThis Marketing Manager will be working at a global bank that is going through a huge acquisition. At first, this is highly executional and focused on marketing project management. Helping them develop and launch a premier services product for their most affluent customers to potential customers from the new acquisition and developing marketing communication and collateral around it (posters, flyers, brochures, pitch books, etc., maybe some digital aspects as well). Creating these materials, leveraging existing materials but customizing to this particular new market. For the first 6-8 months, this will be 80% Marketing Project Management, 20% strategic, after that, this will shift to more strategic work. After this project, they will dive into the segments business:Segments Marketing Manager role is to lead 3 of our customer segments and help to develop the strategies against them that will help to accelerate acquisition growth. This role is mainly focused on working with the business partners to develop integrated marketing plans to support business priorities against these segments. It requires someone to be able to manage multiple and differentiated projects at one time, think holistically about how different channels can work together and be innovative/creative because these segments won't always be easy to reach. This role will report to a Senior Marketing Manager and also support execution for additional Segments as required.
