Our programs include, but are not limited to, ABA Therapy for Children, Community Day Program, Community Living, Mental Health, Employment and Career Services, and Foster Care. Purpose: To perform basic general repair and building maintenance in residential homes and other day program facilities. Essential Responsibilities , include but are not limited to: Assessment of repair requirements including cost estimate and time to complete. Simple carpentry requiring use of hand tools. Exterior maintenance and occasional landscaping work. Drywall repair/patching, priming and painting. Furniture moving, changing light bulbs, cleaning and proper storage of maintenance tools. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of carpentry and general maintenance. Ability to use hand tools effectively. Experience in exterior maintenance and landscaping is a plus. Drywall repair and painting skills preferred. Physical ability to perform the tasks mentioned below.
