Job Description:

The Delivery Process Manager (DPM) is assigned to the management of business and technology projects in coordination with departments throughout the organization. The DPM is responsible for leading the planning and execution of the project as well as communications with stakeholders. The DPM creates within the team a shared focus on the importance of achieving results.
The DPM also supports one or more Delivery Teams. The DPM may be assigned to be the Scrum Master for a Delivery Team. The DPM reinforces the Teams practice and protects the Team from external impediments to help it remain focused on a sustainable, predictable pace of delivery.
The DPM creates and maintains information about assigned projects in the organization's Project & Portfolio Management system. The DPM schedules and facilitates project meetings, prepares project specific deliverables, and reports project status periodically to stakeholders.
As part of a project, the DPM coordinates work and communication between multiple Delivery Teams and Departments. The DPM assists business stakeholders with the identification and planning of their project responsibilities and facilitates project events.
The DPM understands and support processes governing delivery initiatives (Scrum, Kanban, Delivery Life Cycle/SDLC) inclusive of goals, controls and processes.
As an Agile advocate and Coach, the DPM provides coaching and training to help guide teams to ensure delivery of business value via both Agile Scrum and Kanban frameworks, providing team members with feedback and means of improvement, catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions. DPM provides hands-on support to all employees, collaborating with people across widely varying levels and roles, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile as well as overall company growth and improvement.

Role Responsibilities
Delivery Process Manager Responsibilities

  • When playing the Scrum Master role, function as a servant leader for the Product Owner and Product/Development Team and facilitate all team ceremonies (Planning, Reviews, Refinement, Retrospectives, etc).
  • Create and support an environment wherein the team can collaborate, solve problems and deliver solutions effectively.
  • Ensure Team adherence to agreed practice and quality measures and provides supporting guidance.
  • Identify, analyze and manage risks to the teams productivity and stability.
  • Communicate a variety of information about the team broadly and transparently including the health of the team and the teams progress using appropriate metrics and reporting methods.
    Agile Coach Responsibilities
    • Collaboratively work with various Scrum and Kanban based Agile teams within IT to implement consistent utilization and reporting standards.
    • Implement metrics that both Scrum and Kanban based teams can leverage to measure performance and drive continuous improvements.
    • Support the Product Owner as required, including backlog refinement, communicating information about the product and planning product releases.
    • Actively contribute to the Banks collective effort to continuously improve our Agile practice and achieve operational excellence.
    • Participate in the delivery of training to educate and assist Product Owners, Delivery Process Managers and team members on the Agile framework, key Agile concepts, ceremonies and deliverables.
      Position Requirements
      Formal Education & Certifications
      • College or university degree in an applicable field or relevant work experience with similar products required.
      • One or more of the following certification(s) are required:
      • Project Management Professional (PMI)
      • Certified Enterprise Coach (Scrum Alliance)
      • Certified Team Coach (Scrum Alliance)
      • Certified Scrum Trainer (Scrum Alliance)
      • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI)
      • Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance)
        Knowledge & Experience
        • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Information Technology, Finance, Banking, Treasury Operations or Capital Markets preferred.
        • Demonstrated experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
        • 2 to 5+ years work experience as an Agile coach.
        • Extensive experience working on cross-functional teams.
        • Prior experience as a Scrum Master for multiple teams in an iterative delivery model.
        • SAFe knowledge and experience is a plus.
        • Experience managing an IT Operations team (Networking, Citrix, cloud computing (AWS)) or IT Operations projects is a plus.
        • Experience managing an IT Security team (security controls, identity and access management, Privileged Access Management), or IT Security projects is a plus.
        • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
