Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Aurora, IL, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services on a
contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses
on supporting students communication development and collaborating
with educators to create individualized strategies that foster
academic success. Responsibilities include assessing student speech
and language abilities, developing and implementing treatment
plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed documentation.
The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and
other professionals to ensure that each student receives tailored
support aligned with educational goals. Key qualifications and
experience: - Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
with either Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) completed - Experience working in a school
setting, ideally K-12 - Strong knowledge of speech and language
disorders in children - Ability to develop effective individualized
education plans (IEPs) - Excellent communication and collaboration
