In This Role, You Will : Work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues, supervisors, students, parents/guardians, and community members, maintaining positive, solution-oriented relationships that foster a strong, inclusive environment for optimal learning. Continuously seek professional growth through building and department meetings/professional development, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars/in-services. Perform maintenance and repairs of the facility and its associated system and equipment. Demonstrate skills and knowledge in problem solving through general and preventative maintenance. Demonstrate skills and knowledge in various skills related to projects and maintenance (Drywall/Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, etc.). What We’re Looking For: A GED or HS Diploma and a valid driver’s license. At least 2 years of related experience. Licenses and certifications not required. Strong working knowledge of building maintenance. Exceptional attention to detail, while still keeping the bigger picture in mind. Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective skills in working with hand and power tools. Efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks. Active participation in a Christian church. A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student. Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model.
