Position: Music Teacher Are you a passionate musician with a strong
desire to share your expertise and inspire others on their musical
journey? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are
seeking a talented and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team and
work one-on-one with participants, helping them develop their
instrumental technique(s), performance abilities, and advanced
skills such as notation, auditioning, and improvisation.
Responsibilities: As a Music Teacher, you will: Provide 1:1
Instruction: Work closely with participants to provide personalized
instruction tailored to their individual skill levels and musical
goals. Instrumental Technique: Develop participants' instrumental
technique(s) on various instruments, focusing on proficiency and
musicality. Performance Development: Cultivate participants'
performance abilities, preparing them for solo and ensemble
performances. Advanced Skills: Instruct and guide participants in
advanced musical skills, including music notation, audition
preparation, and improvisation techniques. Showcase Preparation:
Collaborate with participants to prepare them for at least two
showcases during the course of their instruction. Assessment:
Conduct periodic assessments to track progress and adjust
instruction as needed. Qualifications: A strong background in music
education and performance. Proficiency in one or more musical
instruments. Exceptional teaching and communication skills. Ability
to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
Knowledge of music theory and notation. Experience with auditioning
and performance preparation. Creativity and flexibility in adapting
teaching methods to individual needs. Access to musical instruments
is a plus.
