Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
to provide in-person services within a K-8 Special Education Co-op
setting in Chicago Heights, IL. This contract role spans from ASAP
through June 2, 2026, offering a 35-hour workweek dedicated to
supporting students with social and emotional disabilities. Key
responsibilities include delivering speech therapy aligned with
students individualized education programs (IEPs). The caseload
comprises approximately 30 fully verbal and independent students
requiring around 120 minutes of therapy per month, typically broken
down into 30-minute sessions weekly. Collaboration with special
education staff will be important to monitor progress and adapt
therapy approaches accordingly. Qualifications and experience: Must
hold an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
Professional Educator License (PEL) required Certification of
Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience in telespeech is
advantageous but services will be provided on-site exclusively
Prior work with K-8 students, particularly those with social and
emotional challenges, highly desirable Responsibilities: Provide
individualized speech-language therapy based on student needs and
IEP goals Maintain clear and timely documentation of therapy
sessions and student progress Communicate effectively with
educational teams and families Support students communication
skills to enhance academic and social success This position
emphasizes in-person therapy delivery within a school environment.
The schedule accommodates a full-time 35-hour week focused on
direct student engagement and collaboration with educational
professionals dedicated to special education. Qualified candidates
