  About the Role:
  
  The Operational Analytics Engineer serves as a liaison between Operations, IT, and Engineering, requiring both business acumen and technical competencies.
  • Subject matter expert within the Plant Applications space and emerging technologies, including but not limited to MII MES, SAP ECC, and operations analytics.
  • Troubleshoots issues around Plant Applications
  • Develops & installs new tools across sites, providing training & end-user support.
  • Responsible for mining/interpreting large, complex datasets spanning multiple platforms.
  • Provides data support and ownership for key projects.
  • Acquires data through Excel spreadsheets, SQL databases, PLCs, and flat file extracts from SAP ECC, Hana, or MII, and converts to Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint,) WEBI Reports, or PowerBI visualizations.
  • Audits system data for accuracy. Important Details: The role requires up to 50% regional travel to support our plant operations throughout the US and CAN. Working hours may vary depending on the needs of the plants.
    
    About You:
    
    You'll fit right in if you have:
    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or Statistics
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytical role
    • Functional understanding of PLC Programming, Ladder Logic, and Plant Automation
    • Technical knowledge and understanding to bridge back-end applications with Operations (SQL, PowerBI, SAP, WEBI)
    • Fundamental table joins and query design capabilities
      • Knowledge and understanding of CPG Operations
