Junior Civil Engineer
Chicago, IL
Pay Base*: $64,000 - $74,000 annually.

Our team of professionals operates in a variety of global settings and some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally.

The Challenge:
We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing design team in our Chicago office. This role requires full-time in-office employment and will be mentored by a mid-level Civil Engineer. The Jr. Civil Engineer will work closely with the whole Civil Team on ongoing projects. Our work ranges from hydrologic and water resource designs to horizontal and geotechnical designs located in the US and beyond.

Principle areas of responsibility are:

• Preparation of construction documents, including specifications.
• Wet and dry utility design including sizing and alignment.
• Quantity take-offs for estimating purposes.
• Grading and drainage design, including stormwater management and storm sewer design/calculations.
• Use third-party applications (AutoTURN, Hydraflow) to generate drawings based on specific project requirements. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • EIT registration is preferred, if not currently registered will be strongly encouraged within the first year of employment
  • Proficiency in Civil3D/AutoCAD or Microstation.
  • 0-3 of experience in design within the civil engineering discipline.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • This position requires US Citizenship to work on US federal government projects. What We Offer:
