Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Location: Suite 1818, Chicago, United States Company: BT Group JOB TITLE: Specialist Lead Engineer JOB DUTIES: Technical installation of large and complex project deliveries and the in life support of large and complex Command & Control solutions. Dealing with more complex incidents or supporting junior technical staff with installation or live incidents. Interfacing with customer during incident calls and engaging the appropriate teams from with BT to resolve incidents swiftly. Utilize expertise in Trading platform and VoIP deployments across a number of technologies and also understanding of complex Trading solutions within the customer domain. Requirement to work on site and remotely as necessary to meet the delivery or support objective. Engagement with Product and pre-sales teams to support pre-sales and proof of concept deployments. Lead remote delivery projects and managing the remote delivery team members. Accountable for the technical activities assigned during project deployment and testing and accountable for technical staff within the team assigned to incident or project. Providing support and coaching to junior technical resources. Ensure all complex incidents at project delivery are resolved in a swift manner to ensure customer satisfaction and an efficient handover to service. Interop with customer technical resources for both support & delivery on complex or high profile solutions with multiple components. Accountable for swift escalation and engagement of subject matter experts, operational management or R&D REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related and 4 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Experience to include: 4 years of experience in SIP protocols, customer engagement; and, communicating/escalating to stakeholders. 3 years of experience in VOIP - SIP Protocols. 1 year of experience in Coding and Scripting (C#, VB). 6 months of experience: escalations throughout customer engagements.
