Christy Webber Landscapes - Job Summary: Repair and maintain a wide variety of landscape equipment and vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.

--- Knowledge of general mechanics and familiarity with landscaping equipment.
--- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using various automotive equipment and computerized diagnostic devices.
--- Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
--- Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes.
--- Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.
--- Troubleshoot vehicle problems and discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
--- Perform any repairs needed on vehicles and equipment.
--- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires extensive knowledge of various engines, and broad-based mechanical aptitude.
--- Ability to independently troubleshoot, find problems, repair equipment, operate landscape equipment and power tools. Ability to weld and operate cutting torch. Must have basic computer skills for simple data entry. Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred but not necessary
--- Bilingual Spanish/English ability preferred but not necessary. A valid Driver License is required.
