Senior CI/CD Engineer, Core Infrastructure
Adyen is looking for a Senior CI/CD Engineer for the Core
Infrastructure team in Chicago. In this position, you will work on
a world-class platform that enables developers to grow Adyen's
business. Our platform is a distributed system with high
performance and strict security requirements. Your primary
responsibilities are to develop and maintain CI/CD solutions in a
complex environment. You will create, refactor, and extend the
components of our bespoke CI system. You will create the glue that
binds code and infrastructure. Together as a team, we are providing
CI/CD "as-a-service" to the entire organization.
Who you are
You have a solid Linux background with broad systems experience.
You have built containers and Linux and OSX packages. You are
well-versed in the Software Development Lifecycle and are
proficient in git. You love automating processes and evangelizing
CI/CD practices to the rest of the organization. Creating pipelines
for GitLab and Jenkins is your bread and butter. You prefer a
programmatic approach using Configuration Management and
Infrastructure as Code. You are a team player that is open to
feedback and is able to work in a 24/7 environment. You diagnose
issues and make quick, informed decisions while under pressure. You
have strong communication skills and love collaborating with your
teammates.
