This is a permanent full-time role, offering an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled engineers in the design and development of innovative engineering solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in design engineering, specifically with solidworks, hydraulics, and have proven management and leadership skills. Responsibilities1. Lead and manage a team of design engineers in the creation, development, and improvement of our innovative engineering products.2. Utilize your expertise in SolidWorks and hydraulics to oversee the design and development of complex engineering solutions.3. Implement and manage project plans, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, sales, and marketing to ensure product design meets customer requirements and market trends.5. Foster a supportive and innovative team environment, where continuous learning and improvement are encouraged.6. Drive the implementation of best practice engineering design and techniques.7. Conduct regular team meetings to review project status and plan future actions.8. Ensure all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide a reliable source of reference.9. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced members of the engineering team.Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a design engineering role.3. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.4. Expertise in SolidWorks and hydraulics.5. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges and obstacles.8.
