Job Description:

Hardesty & Hanover is seeking a talented and innovative Structural Designer to join our dedicated team of engineering professionals. You will play a pivotal role in designing critical infrastructure projects and have the opportunity to contribute to the integrity and safety of civic structures. With a focus on sustainable and efficient design, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to push the boundaries of traditional engineering solutions and drive project success from concept to construction. Develop structural designs for civil infrastructure including bridges, transportation systems, and other civil structures. Prepare design documents, drawings, and specifications while adhering to industry standards and client requirements. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure the integrity and efficiency of design solutions. Utilize advanced design software to create innovative solutions to structural challenges. Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and progress updates. Conduct site visits and structural inspections as needed during project development phases. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure specifications are followed accurately during the build phase. Proficiency with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit Strong understanding of structural analysis software like STAAD or SAP2000 Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of industry regulations and building codes 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Certification in AutoCAD or Revit is beneficial
