Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the metal
fabrication industry, is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Welder to
join their dynamic team. As a 1st Shift Welder, you will be an
integral part of the production department supporting the
manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to craftsmanship,
which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title:
1st Shift Welder Location: Brookfield, WI Pay Range: $24.00 –
$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)
What's the Job? Perform MIG welding on various metal components
according to job specifications and quality standards. Read and
interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to
ensure accurate fabrication. Inspect welds for accuracy,
appearance, and structural integrity; identify and correct defects
as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following
all safety protocols and procedures. Collaborate with team members
to meet production targets and support continuous improvement
initiatives. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required;
welding training or technical education preferred. 3-5 years of MIG
welding experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication
environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding
specifications accurately. Strong understanding of welding
techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation. Attention to
detail and the ability to recognize weld defects effectively.
