Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: Inspect piping, fittings, valves, and general mechanical equipment for quality and compliance with industry standards Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping, fittings, valves, and general mechanical equipment Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on piping, fittings, valves, and general mechanical equipment Document and report inspection findings Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures Requirements: 5 to 10 years plus experience in mechanical inspections or similar Familiarity with API standards Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients at all organizational levels Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes Demonstrated ability to deliver inspection reports promptly and accurately Possession of a reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license Willingness to pursue additional certifications to enhance professional skills and expertise Aptitude for collaborative teamwork as well as the ability to work independently when necessary Familiarity with relevant construction industry codes and regulations Familiarity with inspections in fabrications and manufacturing Company Description Created in 1828, Bureau Veritas is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection, and social responsibility.
