Job Description Job Description Electromechanical PLC Technician Employment Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $35.00-42.40 an hour DOE Location: Elk Grove Village Work Schedule: Onsite - Monday through Friday 12-hour shifts 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am. Join Client as an Electromechanical PLC Technician and become a vital part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing materials processing through innovative automation solutions. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. What You’ll Bring: - Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial control systems using electrical schematics, multimeters, and PLC diagnostic software - Hands-on experience programming, modifying, and monitoring PLC logic to enhance machinery performance - Strong knowledge of electromechanical assemblies, motors, relays, sensors, pneumatic components, and VFDs - Ability to perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, hydraulic systems, and electrical equipment - Skilled in calibrating sensors, actuators, and instrumentation critical to manufacturing processes - Commitment to safety protocols, including OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures Nice to Have: - Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.) - Familiarity with CAD drawings and electrical schematics - Additional certifications in industrial controls, automation, or safety standards Preferred Education & Experience: - Technical diploma or apprenticeship in electrical, electronics, or automation technology - 3 years of experience working with automated manufacturing equipment in an industrial setting Other Requirements: - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional overtime - Willingness to collaborate with engineering and production teams on system upgrades and installation projects - Valid driver’s license if travel to other facilities is required About Trova Advisory Group Trova Advisory Group specializes in delivering a comprehensive array of staffing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses across multiple sectors.
