Our intent, across the organization, is to?Listen with Purpose?to deliver successful results. -- -- As a member of the Corporate Marketing Department, the Creative Services Manager works directly with the Corporate Marketing team, field marketing staff and our agents to coordinate company focused marketing initiatives. The day-to-day responsibilities include managing a team of graphic designers to produce creative, compelling, on-brand, on-strategy print and digital communication materials to support marketing, business development and sales initiatives. As a company, our goals are to attract new real estate talent and guide our agents to efficiently expand their business and close more deals through our resources. -- -- This design professional will have experience managing a team of creatives along with a sophisticated portfolio with a modern and innovative edge that displays exceptional use of typography. -- ?-- CORE FOCUS: -- Manage the Creative Services department, consisting of Creative Services Coordinator and Graphic Designer, to deliver on the following; Support Chief Marketing Officer in conceptual development and execution of creative deliverables as well as established design layouts for both Residential and Commercial; -- Develop messaging and design direction; -- Direct Creative Services department to bring company projects to fruition; -- Manage Creative Services department workflow, stay on deadline and ensure communication and final product meets our standards; -- Support New Development Manager on new development graphics needs; -- Produce polished final designs for all company related assets; Manage and produce company's in-house publication, IMAGINE; Manage and design company and client websites and html email templates/newsletters; Work with outside agency and Creative Services Coordinator to manage social media strategy; -- Work with outside agency and Creative Services Coordinator to manage company digital campaigns; Manage company digital resources with Creative Services Coordinator; Summarize and display meaningful executive level analytics with support from outside agency; Manage custom graphics revenue and billing; -- Consistently meet deadlines?and collaborate across company. -- -- Project Management -- Effectively utilize workflow management system; -- Communicate with staff and agents to manage expectations; -- Ensure Creative Services department meets 100% of deadlines or properly communicates delay and meets altered deadline; -- Track, manage and grow billable hours for custom design work; -- Delegate and oversee work to the Creative Services Coordinator and Graphic Designer. -- -- Design -- Be a leader in teaching and educating staff on good design choices and skills; -- Create pieces that keep Jameson at the forefront of the industry; -- Contribute ideas and insights for all new initiatives and innovative development of the Creative Services team; -- Develop internal and external print and digital design pieces for all-company initiatives and agent specific marketing; Design and manage company and client websites and html email templates/newsletters.-- Quality Control/Administrative -- Recognize, on your own, need to update company marketing pieces without direction; -- Watch and forecast design choices and trends of Sotheby's International Realty (SIR); then emulate these design choices and bring these decisions into projects to ensure our material is reflective of SIR; -- Monitor published material from staff and ensure that work reflects the Jameson and SIR brands; -- Maintain and manage graphics printer and supplies with IT and assist in troubleshooting techniques; -- Perform file integration and general housekeeping of department files and materials. -- -- Customer Service Oriented -- Demonstrate leadership amongst staff by fielding training and agent specific questions; -- Build relationships with agents and staff and acquire knowledge of their design esthetic to limit rounds of proofs; -- Identify new vendors as needed in order to achieve diversity and offer broad selection of printers, paper sources, signage etc. as well as innovative solutions; -- Shoot and edit photographs for use in marketing collateral and in relation to company-sponsored events or new agent portraits. -- -- REQUIREMENTS: -- Required Computer & Design Skills: -- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. -- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects). -- Proficiency with CSS and HTML coding. -- Proficiency with Monday.com or equivalent project management platforms. -- Ability to learn and implement new software. -- Proficiency in Motion Graphics. -- Video Editing Skills. -- Portrait photography. -- Photography Retouching. -- Other: -- Ability to work with multiple temperaments and working styles. -- Interface with large, diverse sales force. -- Capability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive tasks. -- Must be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality. -- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -- Design oriented, strong visual communication skills. -- Demonstrate high level of organizational habits. -- Ability to collaborate with team and work independently in a deadline-oriented environment. -- Thrive in fast-paced environment. -- Ability to use data to drive decisions and inform strategies. -- Ability to photograph special events and marketing initiatives. -- Proficient knowledge of commercial graphics printers with ability to train staff to troubleshoot printing issues. -- Education: -- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or other. -- Minimum five years of related experience. -- Real estate marketing experience a plus. -- -- -- This list is meant as a general description of the duties and responsibilities of the role of the Creative Services Manager and may not include some of the tasks you will be asked to undertake.
