VP of Sales
Can work Remote anywhere in the US

Looking for VP of Sales to drive Aerospace/Defense sales with experience with castings and/or forgings to grow the business.---- Must be willing to travel 65-75% and land new business as well as keeping relationships with existing customers.---- This will be someone is willing to work with extremely large, mid-size and Mom and Pop companies.---- Exciting time to be part of the organization which is a very established company that continues to grow and is looking for a Team player to take ownership in continuing to grow the business.--

Responsibilities


  • Lead and develop the strategic business plans to grow aerospace business sector
  • Help expand the company's national market presence in the Metals Industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal sales groups, customers, and regulatory agencies
  • Identify prospects for new business opportunities, partnerships and alliances
  • Develop marketing plans for specific business segment
  • Develop appropriate measurements to gauge sales goals and report to management and staff on a regular schedule.
  • Track competitive activities, market share and products
  • Monitor industry trends and communicate to executive management
  • Increases sales and profit through direct selling of established customers, developing new customers, prospects, strategy, marketing objectives, priorities, programs, proposals and presentations
  • Provide innovative solutions to industrial clients
  • Has direct account responsibility and works with independent agents as established by company
  • Recommends new business strategies to continuously strengthen competitive position in markets
  • Prepares reports, statements and statistical data necessary by conducting preliminary studies and investigations
  • Acts as liaison cross-functionally, in efforts to resolve customer matters
  • Assures effective operations by coordinating sales and service activities with engineering, manufacturing, inventory and shipping
  • Attends and performs necessary duties at industry trade shows, seminars and organization meetings as necessary

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree and higher education is a plus.
    • Experience focusing in Aerospace industry is a MUST!
    • Must have experience with metals, forging and/or castings.

        • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
        • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks, make decisions and solve problems independently.
        • Must have strong business acumen and ability to lead across functions.
        • Required travel: 75%
        • PowerPoint Outlook, Excel and Word computer skills are required.


        • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

        • Must have strong business acumen and ability to lead across functions.
        • Required travel: 75%
