Our website is www.validusa.com. Valid has an outstanding opportunity for a--Solution Sales Director--based in our Lisle, IL office (remote US based also considered). The Solution Sales Director is responsible for promoting and selling Valid's Digital Solutions portfolio to Financial Institutions, FinTechs, Processors, Payment Service Providers, Public Sector, etc by managing a consultative approach that will include identifying customer needs, designing solutions and building proposals based on solid business cases. The incumbent will be responsible for achieving revenue and gross profit quota with quarterly objectives determined and agreed to mutually between the individual and management. You will collaborate with sales, service, engineering and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer business and technical decision-makers. The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to adopt a leadership role where necessary. You should have technical solution experience and a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure. This role covers the United States and Canada. What will you do?

  • Promote Valid portfolio of software and services to customers and prospects through cold-calling, networking and following up on referrals.
  • Calling and emailing potential clients in order to set up meetings whether in person or virtually to present Valid's solution/product offerings.
  • Work with senior leadership to identify/establish go to market digital transformation opportunities and strategies.
  • Deal Qualification activities to assess technical and commercial feasibility of business opportunities by identifying gaps in customer requirements and Valid capabilities.
  • Identifying subject matter experts and delivery architects required to develop solution and cost for assigned opportunities.
  • Develop cohesive solution, price, proposal creation and presentation for the customer with support of SME's.
  • Conduct sales presentations in alignment with other Valid SME's and Sales leadership as needed.
  • Execute proposals and respond to RFP's, RFQ's and all other inquiries with support of the Valid team.
  • Update Statements of Work (SOW) templates and assess/mitigate risks through the solution design and contract language.
  • Follow commercial risk management process consulting with commercial management team and legal as applicable.
  • Secure all appropriate final opportunity/contract approvals from required parties. What are we looking for?
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or Business.
    • Area of Study - Information Technology, Business, Process
    • 5-10--years of experience in Solutions selling to financial institutions or payments industry.
    • Strong technical and pre-sales knowledge in multiple areas of software and related services.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Google suite
    • Able to operate under pressure managing multiple opportunities and demanding clients
    • Keep appropriate people aware of plans, decisions, status and other relevant information
    • Adaptability - Able to triage varied requests and opportunities based on client urgency
    • Productivity - Able to quickly react to requests and properly technical opportunities . What we offer:
