Role: As a Professional Services Senior Consulting Manager in Global Services, you will lead the execution of CS and PS strategy as advised. You will help craft delivery methodologies while encouraging quality and ultimately customer success on every engagement. You will support the shift to expert services, as well as help assist in the transformation of services offerings to subscription, seek to an improved customer experience. In this role you will act as a conduit to the PS & CX PMOs, and to our customer-facing Customer Success teams. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for interlocking with the Cloud Migration PMO, maintaining project reporting, ensuring adherence to time/cost/scope of all projects post-sale, driving iterative process improvements, and coordinating the internal/partner blend resourcing model.
  • Collaborate with individuals across the company from Product Management, Product Marketing, Professional Services, Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Enablement, Education, Customer Success Management, and Support.
  • Assist in execution of global services strategy which includes the orchestration of content creation and building capacity at scale
  • You'll help in assisting in the creation of innovative solutions to accelerate adoption, reduce gaps in functionality, and shorten time to first value
  • Responsible for multiple internal projects, team utilization targets, supports resourcing, meeting team goals, and monitoring success
  • Own, lead, and maintain a services offerings matrix, mapping tasks to sales plays, and aligning on enablement and delivery strategy
  • Own and handle technical project blocking issues through to resolution, and ensure expectations are clear
  • Run experimental projects with new services offerings, tools, and/or methodologies
  • Good corporate citizen - two-way flow of relevant and timely information; work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources.
  • Adopt continuous learning, maintain up-to-date knowledge of Splunk products, functional knowledge, and industry best practices

    • 5+ years of project management or related experience integrating large enterprise applications; recognition of success factors with cloud based deployments
    • Looking for this person to have 2+ years of related Professional Services leadership experience or a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement experience in post-sales and customer success functions in Fortune 1000, Bonus points will be given for MBA or Masters' Degrees
    • Bring your 2+ years of technical leadership experience with Splunk core and premium apps
    • Need to have at least 2+ years of hands on experience developing service practice materials, to include deployment guides, troubleshooting manuals, standard methodologies, consultant trainings, and other enabling documentation
    • Experience developing product use-cases with customers; outstanding verbal, written, social, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Willing to work as part of a diverse, matrixed team, providing and taking guidance to/from partners to achieve organizational outcomes
    • Organized with a healthy sense of urgency, able to set, communicate, and meet bold deadlines with contending priorities
    • Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand complex problems and how it relates to the customer's business
    • Ability to stop, collaborate and listen with technical and non-technical consumers from application developers to executive level partners
    • Self-motivated and self-educating, always interested in keeping up with technology and improving oneself
    • Experience working for a software vendor delivering services to end user customers is required
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment while working remotely from other members of your team
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Business or relevant technical field experience is preferred
