Job Description:

We are seeking a Director of Culinary to add to our growing team and oversee our four kitchens. We are looking for someone who is excited about developing people, instituting standard practices, and scaling a business. We need someone who is passionate about building, implementing, and improving upon foundations. This individual will work closely with Ownership, the Director of Operations, the Kitchen Managers, and the General Managers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
--- Oversees four locations assigned by providing leadership in day-to-day operations
--- Leads menu/recipe changes and costing while encouraging teams to further themselves in these areas
--- Ensures team members are trained properly and certified in their positions
--- Ensures all new locations are trained and launched to the standards established by the company
--- Upholds and manages maintenance and repairs of kitchen equipment
--- Ensures all food quality standards and recipes are adhered to
--- Responsible for health department inspections as necessary
--- Assesses teams to help fulfill training needs
--- Works the line with BOH and fills in when necessary
--- Ensures that back of house teams are fully staffed and scheduled properly
--- Completes and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
--- Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations
--- Regularly reviews vendor pricing and sourcing to ensure the best quality, pricing, and rebates are attained
--- Responsible for food cost, labor goals, and product sourcing
--- Leads, trains, and monitors the performance of team members to ensure goals are met
--- Responsible for implementing and training on standardized recipes, invoicing protocol, and kitchen inventories

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
--- Results-oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving, and negotiation skills
--- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in the organization
--- Ability to perform under pressure and lead multiple priorities with competing demands
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
--- Ability to prioritize workload for self and team
--- Demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines and make quick decisions in an ever-changing environment
--- Proficient in Google Suite

--- Relevant multi-location restaurant operations experience
--- Leadership and organizational skills to direct, coach, and lead a team
--- Proficient in Google Suite
--- Experience in operations within food service
--- Current Food Handler Manager + Allergen Certification
--- Fluent in both English and Spanish
--- Have reliable transportation and/or a valid driver's license
--- Travel for work, from 50% up to 75% of the time
