About the Role
The Group: The Data, Research & Enterprise Solutions group is
composed of four key product sub-groups: Direct, Research Products,
Market Data and Advisor Workstation. These global groups primarily
serve institutional clients, advisors, wealth platforms and asset
managers as well as third-party firms that also serve these core
channels. Some of our core products and capabilities include One
Direct, Data Feeds, Market Data, Research and Ratings distribution,
licensing and services, Advisor Workstation, and Financial
Planning. The Product Operations team supports the overall business
and collaborates across teams to support objectives and deliver on
key results.
The Role: We are looking for a talented Go-To-Market (GTM) Program
Manager who will be focused on successfully launching features,
extensions, capabilities, and integrations across our products
ensuring our marketing, sales, service, customer success, and
operations teams are enabled with the right information to
effectively market, sell, and deliver world-class service our
innovative software solutions. We are looking for a proactive,
detail-oriented, self-starter who can work effectively in a highly
collaborative team setting.
The GTM Program Manager is a guru with a network of positive
relationships that excels at navigating the company, building
bridges across borders and teams, seeing around corners, and
skillfully guiding teams toward consensus. The ideal candidate will
coordinate, manage, and execute both operational tasks and projects
that are cross-functional and cross-regional.
We prefer for this position to be a hybrid of remote and in-office
at our Chicago office but may consider other US locations. The
ideal candidate will bring a high degree of self-motivated
engagement and high connectivity/availability within our various
global time zones.
Job Responsibilities
--- Own and drive program management for GTM initiatives across our
product groups, managing multiple projects concurrently varying in
size and complexity
--- Confirm GTM activation gates have been met and required content
for the GTM strategy is set by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for
GTM kick off
--- Navigate the organization effectively to identify and align
stakeholders in Portfolio Marketing, Editorial, Brand, Product
Marketing, Enablement or Sales/Success/Support Managers, and Sales
Operations, across geographic regions as necessary
--- Represent business for the GTM Active phase, bringing in SMEs,
as needed, to gather requirements from stakeholder groups
--- Plan and schedule project goals, milestones, and deliverables
across internal stakeholders to ensure that project tasks are
completed on schedule with high quality
--- Communicate status and escalate any issues across all
stakeholder groups, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the
business unit, and GTM team
--- Proactively identify and manage dependent tasks between
multiple teams and multiple geographic regions as necessary
--- Coach teams to identify project issues and address project
blockers effectively. Lead efforts to manage and support conflict
resolution across priorities and squads.
--- Develop key performance indicators and lead monthly program
review with business stakeholders to report on and facilitate
conversations regarding KPI status, progress, resources, and
risks.
--- Establish and maintain trusted advisory relationships with
sales, support, marketing, product managers, and stakeholders.
--- Ensure that new product launches are well coordinated,
effectively released and ultimately result in market success
--- Ensure proper hand off post launch to Support, Customer
Success, and Product Operations owners, and confirm goal
tracking
--- Coordinate with Project Managers across business units for
cross-product programs, transparency and roadmap alignment
--- Evangelize the GTM Framework, owned by GTM Director of Program
Management, and contribute to ongoing process improvement
Qualifications
--- Bachelor's Degree
--- 5+ years of experience and proven track record in hands-on
managing complex technical project and/or program management
experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager
--- Proven leadership presence and success in facilitating global
team collaboration
--- Ability to handle multiple divergent priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
