We are always seeking the best and most talented individuals to add to our team.The roleThe Technical Sales Manager will build client relationships and drive measurable sales results in the Chicago and NY areas. This position has a focus on customer acquisition and business development for Automation integration projects. Responsible for building customer base and meeting annual and monthly sales goals.Responsibilities:· Developing and executing Horizon Controls Group's growth strategy and tactical sales plan in the U.S. market to ensure revenue and gross margin objectives are met and business goals are achieved.· Establish and maintain customer relationships with prospective and existing customers. Support our key customers with both technical and commercial expertise to retain them and drive additional revenue.· Engage with customers across all functions and hierarchical levels, from engineers and buyers to CEO's and showcase our value proposition.· Acquire an in-depth understanding of our portfolio and keep up to date with the latest developments and industry trends by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.· Recognize customer's needs and use your knowledge of HCG's offerings to create proposals identifying tailored solutions exceeding their expectations.· Coordinate internally with relevant decision makers and expertise holders throughout our global network to create and deliver complex technical solutions requiring engineering services.· Independently manage your sales account and rigorously follow the sales process, including CRM data generation, diligent opportunity management and accurate forecasting, with a focus on generating growth.· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual analyses.· Scouting for and attending conferences, fairs, and industry association meetings as needed. Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering, preferred.
  • Work experience in Engineering or Pharmaceutical industry or similar background a plus.
  • Sales experience preferred but not required. Relevant professional experience with a proven track record of successfully engaging top-level management, decision makers and end users.
  • Ability to rapidly develop and leverage a network to drive sales opportunities and achieve growth targets.
  • Experience mapping out and navigating customer organizational structures to engage with relevant decision makers depending on the project sales stage.
  • Outstanding capacity to use your technical proficiency to conceptually engage with customers in the project development process.
  • Analytical, solution oriented and result driven.
  • Superior presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Persistence and patience in finding leads and opportunities and ability to build strong sales pipeline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
