Olive is improving healthcare operations today, so everyone can benefit from a healthier industry tomorrow.As Olive continues to grow, the Sales Director - Provider Market will have the responsibility to support and motivate a sales team of Strategic Account Leads (SALs) by leading them to activate accounts, hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet and exceed sales quotas. The Sales Director - Provider Market will work closely with the Provider Market leadership, the Executive Directors, and Sales Enablement to build and develop the SALs to success in their roles. This will include identification of challenges and barriers and leading initiatives to overcome them as well as supporting and driving both personal and professional development. The Sales Director - Provider Market will not have direct supervision responsibilities and will therefore need to build a strong relationship with the SALs to be effective in coaching, training, supporting, and motivating them as individuals and as a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and support Provider Market SALs across the Provider Markets: Enterprise, Established and Emerging Markets
  • Work closely with sales leadership and Executive Directors to monitor SAL performance and understand expectations
  • Work with the SALs' direct supervisor to ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward
  • Provide the necessary support to SALs to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals
  • In collaboration with sales leadership, develop professional development programs to improve sales competencies and skill sets
  • Develop field sales action plans in collaboration with sales leadership to facilitate the implementation of the sales programs
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies and establishing personal networks
  • Understand a rapidly growing provider market and coach SALs in the best way to approach customer opportunities
  • Manage Strategic Account Lead assignments and ensure appropriate coverage and alignment across the team
  • Establish role clarity and clear responsibilities for SALs in each deal
  • In collaboration with Sales Enablement, organize training and education for new and tenured staff
  • Evaluate success through SAL performance metrics
  • Participate in interviews and the processes of recruiting new SALsRequirements
    • 10+ years experience in leading sales teams, healthcare experience preferred
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field or equivalent professional experience
        • Experience in direct sales and oversight to a sales team
        • Excellent communication and presentation skills
        • Exemplary team management skills including building, motivating and achieving sales success
        • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
        • Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
        • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
        • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
