Job Description:
Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer
electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is
seeking an -exceptional -Account Manager to join our Professional
Imaging team. You will be responsible for all facets of reseller
accounts and relationship management by -developing and
coordinating sales activity to Authorized Epson Resellers within a
defined territory. Join a high-energy team with a strong manager
coach that will support you to flourish and succeed! The ideal
candidate will be located out of the Chicago, Illinois area.
-Principal AccountabilitiesIn addition to the following Epson s
policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but
are not limited to:Meets and exceeds sales and product objectives
in territory by effectively -utilizing all resources
availableCollaborates with Sales Manager in development of sales
plan and builds salesEstablishes a strong Epson presence within
account base at decision maker and -management levelDevelops
contacts in target accounts through prospecting in designated
-territoryFollows-up on all leads provided by the companyInteracts
with all appropriate internal and external customers to ensure
-successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies with
the customerIdentifies and understands the customer's needs and
provides solutions using -Epson products, programs, and
servicesLeverages Epson channel partners whenever possible and
minimize channel -conflictDemonstrates products to new and existing
customersKeeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and
informs Epson management -on developments and trends that may
impact customers' purchases and other -business activities in the
near and distant futureParticipates in trade shows, sales meetings,
training classes, and other lead -generation activitiesResolves
customer issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues
to -manager as appropriateEffective Sales AdministrationDevelops
and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecastsAdheres
to all administrative policies and proceduresMaintains account
database of contacts and activitiesSubmits all commission
documentation monthlyProvides monthly pipeline sales forecasts to
sales managementOperates within budgetary constraintsSubmits weekly
activity/call reports -Minimum RequirementsIndustry experience and
knowledge with reseller channels6-8 years of new business
development sales experience within the print technology industry
-and selling directly to the dealers/channelUp to 35% travel within
local region and occasionally to headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA
and trade showsExtremely strong coordination, follow up, leadership
and rapport building capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written
communication skillsCompletion of an undergraduate degree or
equivalent (B.A. or B.S)Working knowledge of MS Office: Word,
PowerPoint, Excel and AdobeTeam playerEpson America, Inc. is an
