We're a large and well-respected digital design organization of
115+ passionate UX Designers, Content Designers, Researchers,
Visual Designers, and Design Program Managers led by our VP UX. And

As the digital voice of Allstate, the Senior Manager, UX Content
Design, Content Management & Strategy, will establish and lead a
unified content management system, content delivery and taxonomy
process that will serve all business lines supported by UX. They
will lead the assessment of the current content management process,
propose a roadmap for convergence into a unified system and lead
convergence into an identified target state.
This role will partner with other UX Content Designers, Visual
Designers, UX Designers, and Researchers in the organization to
provide relevant messaging across various channels to enhance
customer engagement. This role will also establish unified,
reusable content for use across experiences to enhance the user
journey, including naming conventions, calls-to-action, microcopy
and error messaging, that help drive bottom-line business results
for the company. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and an
enthusiastic team player capable of partnering across the business,
technology, data analytics, operations, product stakeholders,
marketing, design, and legal partners to build out solutions that
deliver against content management goals. This role will
continuously work to identify new opportunities that will optimize,
enhance and personalize the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute on a taxonomy strategy to support UX content
management.
Develop, evaluate, and oversee management of taxonomy strategies
and vision, developing roadmaps and project plans to continually
improve content unification across experiences.
Set UX content strategy for complex or multi-faceted areas and
assure adherence to that strategy through communication and design
direction.
Train UX team on taxonomy best practices to ensure consistency in
execution.
Set and measure key performance indicators for UX Content Design
work.
Act as SME and resource for content team members.
Manage a team of Content Designers, guiding them toward project
success and achieving career goals.
Actively determine and implement new processes for benefit of the
UX team, development teams and stakeholders.
Use data and research to evaluate content's impact and derive
customer insights that will help us solve our biggest customer
problems and show real business results.
Work with and gain approval from other stakeholders and legal.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does have supervisory
duties. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Journalism, Advertising,
Communications or similar.
Ten or more years as a Content Manager, Content Designer, UX Writer
or Content Strategist.
Five or more years as a leader responsible for delivery of content
management and content delivery solutions (ex: Adobe Experience
Manager, SDL Tridion, Sitecore, etc.) that power reusable content
across multi-channel, high traffic customer experiences.
Four or more years of experience with content taxonomy capabilities
is highly desirable.
CMS subject matter expertise, including functionality, features,
administration, and common business use cases.
Expertise with taxonomy strategy development.
Expertise in content strategy development, implementation, and
development.
Ability to work autonomously to solve problems delivering high
quality results.
Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to lead build vs. buy discussions and vendor product
assessments based on requirements.
Executive presence - ability to influence and advise senior
marketing and technology leaders in the organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to
work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Highly articulate; make arguments in a compelling, data-driven
manner.
Experience working with a cross-functional UX team.
Experienced with agile development processes.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Experience with a content management systems (Adobe Experience
Manager or other)
Experience with a tag management platform (Ensighten, Adobe Tag
Manager, Google Tag Manager, or other)
Expertise in content strategy methods and deliverables
Expert level knowledge of website and product UX development cycles
and activities
Deep knowledge in people and project management
Expertise in human-centered design techniques
A relentless focus on the user
Understanding of agile development processes
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate closely with peers, managers and
stakeholders across disciplines and at all levels throughout the
organization
A smart, solid portfolio that demonstrates how you think
Mastery of Office suite; familiarity with Axure, Figma and Sketch

Compensation offered for this role is $140,000.00-$160,000.00 per
year and is based on experience and qualifications.
