The Benefits Manager must understand the benefit marketplace and the needs of Point B's associates. This individual leads the Benefit Specialist team. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:Serves as the primary contact for escalated benefit issues within Point B Supports the development and execution of the benefits strategy using available data and working with and managing the external benefit consultant team Provides recommendations on how the benefits strategy can evolve to respond to a changing landscape while enhancing the employee experience and effectively managing cost Develops recommendations for new benefit plans or modifies existing plans to maintain company's competitive position in the labor market Researches and stays up to date on health and welfare benefits and qualified retirement plan industry trends Manages benefit design approval process Leads initiatives to improve benefit policies and procedures ensuring compliance Works closely with external benefit consultants to manage vendor RFPs and identify vendors that align with Point B's benefits strategy Manages vendor relationships and performance Engages on behalf of employees with benefit vendors to resolve issues Manages benefit rhythm of the business activities including annual open enrollment and maintaining compliance Spearheads employee benefit, ESOP, and 401k communications and education efforts in a way that enhances understanding of the benefits available and their value Advises managers and employees on interpretation of benefit policies and practices Solicits and acts upon employee and dependent feedback as appropriate In conjunction with external benefit broker team, oversees insurance renewal In conjunction with 401k Plan administrator, manages annual 401k Audit and compliance requirementsIn conjunction with ESOP administrator and Point B Finance Team, manages the Annual ESOP processes, audit, and compliance processes Partners to support leave management and employee relations Serves as an "Expert User" of Point B's benefit enrollment system(s) Makes hiring, promotion, compensation, and termination decisions for the Benefit Specialist team Develops leaders through performance management, consistent feedback, and development opportunities that help them achieve their professional goals Develops employees' professional skills and provides career mentorship Grows and develops personal leadership skills Builds and manages a versatile team that can share information and quickly and effectively pivot to meet emerging business and operational needs; in stills a Point B mindset in the team Upholds and models our leadership and culture tenets and values and participates in firm culture activities to connect regularly with other Point Bers (e.g., FW Ops meetings, Geo meetings) Actively engages in Point B's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts WHAT WE OFFER: The opportunity to affect the learning approach for our firm's futureThe chance to impact the journey of our employees' growth and developmentAn environment that encourages you to identify new opportunities and the support to make it happenThe opportunity to build and be part of a fun and collaborative culture with teams that are as passionate about their communities as they are about their workWHAT WE EXPECT YOUVE ALREADY DONE:B.A. or B.S. degree Minimum 7 years of experience within HR including a deep understanding of the Healthcare and Employee Benefits space Experience in designing, building, and administering benefit programs Experience in HRIS systems preferred Experience managing cross functional workflows Strong executive presence and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders THE KIND OF PEOPLE WE LOOK FOR:Innate problem solvers who want to grow in a flexible, collaborative cultureThose who have a growth mindset regarding training, practice, and evolving their skillsVersatile people who thrive on variety and challengeSuccessful in ambiguous environments Desire to and ability to learnPassion for Point B's Mission, Vision, Values & CultureGets it done brand and attitude Ability to travel occasionally Ability to work from home Ability to work non-standard work hours as necessaryProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerYOUR OFFICE HOME BASE:Any Point B Office Location#ep#LI-PBINTRIGUED TO LEARN MORE?When you apply for this role, your information will be personally reviewed by our talent acquisition team (not by a robot).
