Job Description:

Our beautiful Hilton triplex is adjacent to McCormick Place, the largest convention center in North America and has an exciting opportunity for a Convention Sales Manager. This position will act as the liasion between clients and the hotel for rooms only citywide convention groups after point of contract signature. Responsibilities include:

-Create group rate plans and group masters
-Enter rooming lists and create booking links
-Process rooming list changes, additions, cancellations
-Monitor group pickup through 3rd party extranet and/or Hilton systems
-Communicate group needs to all departments in an effective and timely manner via group resumes as well as attend appropriate meetings to ensure client satisfaction
-Perform group audits as needed
-Set up group routing, billing notes and process payments
-Calculate and submit needed reporting for commission or related payments
-Enter in final numbers into Delphi sales system
-Ensure guest satisfaction through professional interaction, problem solving and follow through
-Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
-Be knowledgeable of all Hotel and Departmental policies and procedures
-Communicate all pertinent information to Managers and Supervisors
-Provide client email and telephone communication in a professional manner
-Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
