Description:The Operations Director-Quick Serve Division will manage daily operations of our Wicker Park and Time Out Market locations ?as well as oversee operations for Williamsburg Market in Brooklyn and Purdue Memorial food hall in Lafayette, IN. These locations are fast paced, quick-serve style restaurants. This division is a key part of CRG future growth.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESThe following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.   • Interview, hire, and ensure effective on-boarding and training of all ?local team members
  • Heavy involvement in any management hiring required
  • Create a culture of accountability with budgets and weekly numbers
  • Take ownership of the development and growth of GM and Supervisors
  • Coach all leaders within division
  • Ensure HAPPI values are alive and well in the restaurants
  • Work with CRG and Landlords to ensure property maintenance
  • Participate in weekly calls/meetings with both the COO and CPO
  • Oversee brand and restaurant refreshes and updates, as well as equipment purchases
  • Work with Chef's on menu innovation and rollouts
  • Field new business inquiries
  • Provide support and guidance on pop ups and special events
  • Partner with Marketing team to set marketing plans
  • Maintain mystery shop criteria
  • Interact with other CRG Ops Directors and share best practices
  • Ensure quarterly CRG audits are completed
  • Work with Finance team to assist in budgeting
  • Work with GM's and Culinary Director on any escalated team member concerns
  • Work with GM and Culinary team to maintain food safety standards
  • Conduct performance reviews of any leaders this role has oversight of
  • Ensure team members work according to all standards and policies
  • Provide effective and timely feedback to the team to improve performance
  • Delegate tasks to the team to achieve daily goals
  • Communicate company initiatives to the team in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with all departments of the CRG Home Office to ensure proper operations
  • Effectively handle customer issues and complaints
  • Ensure service team provides excellent customer service according to service standards
  • Manage service floor, coaching the team as needed to ensure a great customer experience
  • Work as part of the service floor team as needed
  • Execute all marketing initiative and plans to increase sales
  • Work with the Culinary Director and kitchen teams to manage cost of goods
  • Ensure the concepts are adequately staffed while controlling labor costs
  • Ensure proper cash handling
  • Assist in investigations where appropriate
  • Review financial reports and plan for improvement
  • Complete monthly inventory and close of month tasks
  • Complete weekly and monthly administrative tasks to ensure proper operations
  • Work closely with HR and CPO to ensure full compliance at all times, and to minimize risk and exposureBENEFITS
