Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Demand Behavioral Science Capabilities, you will help guide the vision and standards by which we measure, analyze and report on our strategic marketing efforts from leadership reporting to daily execution and optimization of media. You will help identify, establish, and champion evidence-based marketing principles; help make informed decisions by uncovering and communicating data-driven and evidence-based insights; use measurement tools to find lessons learned that when acted upon will further the effectiveness of our marketing investments. You will work with Marketing and the broader Brand and Demand Science teams serving as contact across all phases of analytics, measurement and data strategy projects.
You Will:

  • Advocate for our data strategies and identify opportunities, analyze business benefits, evaluate return on investment, and prioritize plans to develop a roadmap that delivers on our shared vision.
  • Lead integration of consumer and marketplace trends; ensure relevant trends are acted upon in marketing strategies and branded implementation.
  • Develop an evidence-based approach (similar to sprint) to support and create always-on/real-time trend/signal identification for marketing activation support.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the market.
  • Lead evolution and measurement of marketing activation by developing, defining and maintaining marketing activation reporting. This will be inclusive of some ecomm marketing measurements.
  • Create, maintain, and report on multiple social listening tools including newship, blackswan and LISTENFIRST.
  • Implement a modernized data and audience strategy approach for measuring the impact of marketing investments on the business, and lead data-backed decision-making and optimization.
  • Guide the application and implementation of contemporary data science, analytical tools, and research methods for useful insights, and interpret and verify results to increase effectiveness.
  • Help guide the roadmap for applications that support marketing technology and personalization, promoting the vision for this space, inspiring innovation and evolving our capabilities over time. This includes the platforms we use to manage customer identity, campaign activation and orchestration, customer communications, AdTech partnerships, and cross-channel personalization.
  • Champion identification and application of marketing principles to build marketing measurement strategy and ensure the design and execution of scalable end-to-end solutions that holistically blend analytics and evidence-based research.
  • Complete a range of data analysis and insight projects. You will create and present analysis focusing on digital attribution, conducting controlled test and learns for paid media performance and LTV return on investment performance.
  • Manage reporting to ensure data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. You will guide efficiency by streamlining processes and automating report creation.
  • Work in a diverse environment and lead across multiple teams, including switching workstreams and handling multiple levels of requests.
    You Bring:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 5+ years experience producing high-quality, well-regarded data, marketing analytics and insights in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry or similar.
    • Experience translating data and insights into relevant recommendations and influencing decisions resulting in tangible outcomes.
    • Experience working with multiple third-party suppliers and MarTech platforms ensuring they are aligned to our deliverables and driving impactful outcomes.
    • Experience explaining difficult concepts and opportunities in simple, applicable business terms, and at all levels of an organization.
    • Understanding of business intelligence, data processing and visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, SQL, R) and experience analyzing large datasets to guide decision-making.
    • Familiarity with, or open to learning, AMC measurement/evaluation tool.
    • Experience designing solutions in unstructured situations.
